I am on a two week trip in Europe. First stop is Poland for two days. One of my colleagues from the Adobe Poland office gave me a whirlwind tour of Warsaw by car last night which I really appreciated as unfortunately this time around, I will not have the opportunity to see much of Poland due to schedules.
Warsaw is city in major transition, destined for capitalistic greatness. Lots of nice things and places to see especially in summer.Good round-the-clock public transport system.
Just returned from stay in Warsaw, and had a wonderful time. The people genuinely like Americans and are friendly and helpful. Most spoke very good English as well. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency which was as good as any Hyatt Hotel in the US. At bit far from downtown though. Food and Beer were also good. I found the communist built drab apartment ...
Warsaw is wonderful! The people are friendly, the service pretty good for European standards and everything is very inexpensive! I would recommend going off the beaten path, although the tourist spots are nice (definately visit the 'Unknown Soldier's grave' and the old town square) just walking around the old coblestone backstreets ...
It's very difficult to describe Warsaw, because this city is full of extremes- old and new. At the first glance we could have the impression that there's is chaos(but it can be liked). I like the streets and the clean hotels,but mostly i liked the service that they had to offer.THe people there are warm and provide many wonderfull services.

the most beatiful city I have ever seen! really interesting place. people are so opened for foreginers and they're all speak english (better then me;)
This place was wonderful, the people love visitors, they are not snotty, like the people in Paris. The history of Warsaw is astounding, it used to be the ceber of the largest country in europe, betch didn't know that. The catholic influences are interesting. There are Good resturaunts. Beautiful palaces, on par with Buckingham Palace, ...

Warsaw is just beautiful - friendly, comfortable, with very nice buildings, large streets, lovely people. I love this city indeed - one of the best European cities!

... the best city in the world. Cheap alcohol, amazing girls, great nightlife!!!!! You have to visit this city... you can find there everything... Speciality of Warsaw: the relics, hundreds night clubs, discos and pubs, really good food, amazing coffee, cute people. Really good beer and of course vodka! Girls look like foto-models ;-)
