Italy Hotline Private Tours......by far the best!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/09
I recently went to Italy with my husband and 3 kids (in their early 20's). We were only going to be in Rome for 3 days so we wanted to make the most of it...but definitly did not want to go on any tour bus with a large group of people. Through lots of reasearch, I found this tour group that was better than I could have hoped for. Sienna ...

Italy Hotline
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/09
Italy Hotline is a fantastic compnay to use for private tours of Rome. Sienna Reid was great in setting up a two day tour of Rome for us. Day one was the Vatican City day two was the City of Rome. The tour guide Anne was so patient answering all of our questions. The best part about the private tour was we could do it at our own pace. If the two kids wanted a break we took a break, the family was not tied to a schedule.
I fell in love with Rome: food, people, atmosphere, weather (I was there late October last year) and history. Great city! Easy to travel around the city, weekly ticket for metro, all buses and trains cost around €16. It is value for money! Must see: of course all main tourist information but I would recommend to visit Trastevere - beautiful ...
I confess, I love Rome so much because it's my own city. I live in California now, but my husband (American) and I go there whenever we can, and we spent a fantastic Christmas week there last December, with my family and friends.
In any season, Rome is friendly, fun, full of life and art. From the majestic Roman sites to the most ...
There is a lot of things to see, and to do but the time was so little and really wished to have more time to see more and visit all the magnificent places but I really got to say that I felt disappointed at Rome airport the stuff there are not friendly at all and not helpful treating you bad and not willing to answer any question or give any help versus stuff at Florence airport they were smiley, Helpful and welcoming.
Rome was my first visit to Europe and all I can say is that it was wayy more than i could ever expect. We stayed at a hotel right near the Vatican-Hotel Alimandi. It was nice, decent breakfast and we had a safe in our room to secure computers and all.
We explored Rome on our own the first day and there was sooo much that we didn't know, so ...
I recently returned from a trip to Rome. We only had a day and a half to see the city so we relied on ItalyHotline and are so glad we did!
Sienna Reid made the booking process so easy. I explained to her that I would be traveling with an older couple as well as a four year old. She assured me that the guide would personalize the tour to meet ...
my mother and I went to Rome recently (Sept. 2008) and couldn't believe we were finally here. We traveled with the locals on trains, buses and did a lot of walking, which we highly recommend, forget the taxis. We spoke English, Spanish and very little Italian and we still found it difficult to get around. We were on a budget so we went to ...
The room is very small which we expected. The bathroom is small also and the shower does not drain well and the shower curtain does not fit the stall. Every shower resulted in a very wet bathroom floor.
It is a little bit noise because of its location. We heard some street noises at night.
