This amazing Indian restaurant is very relaxed and inviting. The food is AMAZING! The service is better than any other establishment we found in Reykjavik. It's Gluten free and serves lactose intolerant patrons as well. The dishes we had were just delicious and the Mango Ice cream was like nothing I'd ever had before. We'll be back for sure!
Well Ill try to keep it short. Iceland is truly a natrual wonder, seemingly unspoiled by the modern world. It has vast lava fields, europes largest glacier, volcanoes, hot springs, geysers, mountains, waterfalls, its really quite breathtaking. The people are extremely welcoming and hospitable and like most scandinavians, have amazing english ...

Iceland is so breathtaking and yet relaxing. Without fancy castls and palaces, the atomsphere is so different from other European cities such as London or Paris. Iceland is nature's heaven... Icelanders are lovely and warm. They are not as class conscious as people in England. Although i do think some people speak elegantly in London. I ...

Don't Even Bother

2 hour bus ride from hell from the airport (take the pricey cab for 40 minutes), lousy but outrageously expensive hotels, too many drunk 20-something year olds walking around all night in Reykjavik. Fine if you are of that age and want to party. If you want culture, relaxation, enjoyment, go to the rest of Europe. If you want to see volcanoes, go to Hawaii; Glaciers go to Alaska.
What a wonderful place. I went in the winter, which of course meant a lot of very bad weather. And by bad I mean horizontal hail storms that came in out of no where. Reykjavik is very compact, so you can find everything you are looking for within a couple square miles. You should also know that Icelanders, CANNOT hold their liqour! As a ...

This place is to die for. It's about 20 mins from Reykjavik with good, albeit expensive transport links. This man made pool is filled with geothermally heated water full of minerals and salts. For £10 you can stay there all day, eat at the excellent restaurant, get back in the pool, lounge around, have a massage, sauna, steam etc ...

It's A Must See

Iceland is such a magical place. It is extremely clean and the people are very friendly. They want to share their history with you. You really need to spend a day or two with a tour operator so that you get some 'local' flavor.
Highly recommended.
