Wonderful city with lots of sights. I love Prague because it is beautiful, I love Vienna because it is majestic, I love Budapest because it is incredibly fascinating!
For starters, the city is absolutely gorgeous. I would begin by walking up to Gellert Hill from the Gellert Ter stop on tram 47/18/19/ and a couple of others I can't remember. ...
Filthy, noisy, unfriendly and no longer cheap. We went to Prague for 4 days prior to Budapest and Vienna for 4 days after which highlighted just how horrible this place is.

NO words could even explain this disgusting place

The tulip inn hotel in Budapest was disgusting.....The rooms were supposed to be airconditioned however the air conditioner only consisted of a box stuck to the ceiling with a fan in it. The female guest relations manager at the hotel does not even care about clients. When we went to complain that someone had tried to open our luggage with a screw ...

ugly place to visit

IT was the most disgusting holiday of my life and the worst ever possible to stay at. Can you ever imagine that someone will try and open your traveling luggage whilst the luggage is locked in the Hotel??!! Well it happened to me and the " Guest relations officer" justified herself by saying that such incident never happened before. The ...
Why Go? Buda meets Pest via seven Danube bridges. New café-restos of Liszt Ferenc tér and Ráday utca now compete with city's storied coffeehouses and Art Nouveau dining palaces. Atmospheric Gellért spa and thermal springs. What to Skip Soulless modern mega-malls: MOM Park, WestEnd City Center, Mammut.
One of the most amazing things about Budapest is the prevalence of thermal springs right in the heart of this beautiful city. There are over 118 springs supplying the citys spas and baths with over 15 million gallons of water daily ranging in temperature from 70 degrees to 170 degrees Fahrenheit which is (21-78°C).
We visited Budapest in the beginning of November. The weather wasn't that great at most times, but the city remained beautiful anyway. I loved the bridges and the silent Danube floating on majestical. Would really like to come back and visit Budapest during summertime. Beautiful historical remains and friendly inhabitans.
WE JUST GO BACK FROM BUDAPEST. I SPENT 4 MONTHS READING AND STUDYING ABOUT THIS GREAT CITY AND I WAS NOT DISAPOINTED. WE SPENT 8 NIGHTS THERE. IT TOOK US ABOUT 3 NIGHTS TO GET FULLY ADJUSTED TO THE TIME CHANGE OF 9 HOURS,AND IT RAINED THE FIRST 2 DAYS BUT THAT DIDN'T KEEP US FROM HAVING A GREAT TIME.WE SAW ALL THE MAIN TOURIST SIGHTS AND ...
Budapest is a middle-sized city in the heart of Europe. It has a small Islamic community too with some nice and friendly mosques.
The city is nice, the people are friendly, the famous theatres, cinemas, museums are easy to find and you can see thousands of new sightseeing wonders.
Just an overall beautiful place on both sides of Budapest. On the buda side, it's mostly countryside but on pest side, it's a good city atmosphere. Hungary is a good place to go however most people sleep on it and instead go to the more well known cities. Oh well, if only they knew..
