I was disappointed with Santorini. Yes there are wonderful views over the sea, yes it is very beautiful when you get there. But apart from that: beaches are awful, people are rude, things are expensive for greek standards, villages are just ok and there isn't much to do. The pictures you take in Santorini will stay in your mind forever but the rest of the island won't.
