Like most of Germany, Hamburg is boring, crime ridden and dirty.
If you go for a visit, stay in your hotel especially at night.
The locals are the rudest people I've every encountered and the food quite ordinary and mostly of low quality.
If you enjoy being pickpocketed by rude people in a dingy dirty city, Hamburg is the place for you

Really a great place to visit : can be very cold in the winter though! The infrsatructure is wonderfully cheap and efficient, the people friendly and open.

The harbour is well worht a visit and the "hafen rundfahrt" is really worth the money - Hamburg Docks are really something worthwhile seeing.

Hamburg was probably the best city in Germany that I visited on my trip. Many of my friends that went to Germany missed out because they wanted to visit Berlin and Heidelberg, which I felt were overrated.

This is a great to visted. I went there when it was cold and i had so much fun you dont know. I went there with a special Lady she know who she is.. and we had a good time she took me to different place so i can enjoy myself and that what i did i go back again and again..

This is the city i was born some yrs back, its a very lovely city where black live without much racism in Germany.
In yr 2006 fifa world cup will be held in the lovely city, i am gonna work towards visiting the city towards the time of this great event.

I liked the fact that you get everywhere easily and not very exspensive! Also it was very convinient that one store was next to the other and everything was right next to the train central station! You barely had to walk at all and the people were very nice if you had to ask for directions. Yet the sales people in some of the stores didn't ...

I like all in Hamburg. Is a beautiful city, where you can eat good and have a great tine.

Being away from Hamburg for many ,many years and coming back only once in awhile. Makes it so great to visit all those beautyfull places,and then lets not forget the shopping,up and down the Moenckeberg Strasse und do not forget the "Alsterhaus und the Jungfernstieg all just great to visit.
