The Medievel Cathedral provides the backdrop for whatever you do in Koln'. The people are most proud of this church. Built on holy ground that preceeded the Roman Conquest of Germania, and goes back to pagan times. I had a chance to spend some time here while visiting a best friend, who was getting married.

Cologne is a very festive city. There is always something going on. Nice friendly crowds of people walking on its streets and very good night life. A very safe city with many Bars, Restaurants and Cafes everywhere. Much of Koln was destroyed after the war and rebuilt afterwards, however, they kept some amazing pieces of architecture.The river walk is also very nice. It is definetly a place to visit while in Germany. I
