Toulouse has an energy like no other city in France. Its not quite Spanish but not quite French, either. All the pink brick and renaissance architecture gives you the feeling of being in Florence—except a little more raucous and a little less tourist infested.
On the weekends there is music in the streets and very stylish locals strolling arm in arm.
What a city! I could easily live there.

Toulouse has all of the architectural and cultural benefits of Paris without the dirtiness and overcrowding. The metro and buses are efficient and the city itself is fairly contained, so getting around is very convenient. i spent a year there and it was such a GREAT experiance i would go back any day! There scenery was so BEAUTIFUL! it's just i love america too and traveling there is fun living there is a 50/50 thing

this place was fun and cool. the bad thing was that once you've been there you don't really want to go again!
Toulouse is one of the best cities to live in France, the center part of the city is fully builded in pink bricks. Some of the most renowed Universities of Europe are there so the young athmosphere is always present
