Strasbourg is such a wonderful place. It is down to earth place that make you feel at peace. The people are warm and friendly and love to help you out. During Christmas the shops and streets are lit and decorated with so many Christmas accents you will want to take everything home! Go! I guarantee you will have the experience of a lifetime!
I moved from Grenoble to this City 6 months ago. Frankly, at the very beginnng, I was kinda disappointed. The city carries a deep feeling of grief, not like Grenoble, which always cheered you up. Most of its city-structures are shaped in square, giving me this illusion of being in a city of robot. Dark green is the dominant color, which illustrates ...
Pretty place, full of that classic French loveliness. Charming locals, and quirky off-the-beaten-track avenues to explore. A must-visit for anyone's trip to France! Not that much to dislike, as everything was just so nice. Great German-Franco feel!

Amazing city!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/06
Hi there, i went to Strasbourg for 5 days, i was amazed. Restaurant, Pubs and cafe are all over the place. I met my mate from Australia there, she lived there for 3 years and loved it, i understand why now. I'm sold on this city, i'm going back there soon for sure.
Easy to walk in with unbelievable history and friendly people. Be sure to visit the parks and areas outside the old city. Be sure to try the Pelforth Brune bier if you are a bier lover.
Strasbourg is the Capital of the EU and it's the best in France to get around. You can get by with German and myabe even English. It's jsut so cool that it's half French and half German. Food is amazing and the cathedral is probably one of the best I've seen in Europe. Do try the Pflammkuchen!!!

Paddy's power in Alsace
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/29/05
Strasbourg, the 7th city of France, prefecture of the Low Rhine, is the intellectual and economic capital of Alsace. Its privileged geographical situation as a center of international communications and its position of Latin sentinel by the Rhine as well as its rich history, ensure its exceptional importance. It was therefore natural that ...
