My husband and I fell in love with Bordeaux, so charming and very historic... the highlight being the Notre Dame church from 1152AD...that is true history.
We had my 2 yr. old son with us and it was a great experience, especially the Petite Train tour that traveled around the city, which saved us walking.
I loved the 1 mile cobbled street where the shops were...great stores for shopping.
I highly recommend a visit to Bordeaux when in France.

I usually don't like writing negative reviews, but I would like to pass on my experience for what its worth.

From what many people were telling me, I had relativley high expectations for Bordeaux. Having already travel around the South West of France (and loving every minute of it) I was expecting more of the same
