The city centre Architecture is quite interesting but apart from that it's really downhill all the way. It just seems to be a very dirty city, alot of buildings seem run down and amenities are nil. Restaurants are quite expensive for the quality of food that you receive, yes beer seems to be quite cheap but everything else is expensive.
Prague is wonderfull city. Public transportation is so accesible, you do not need taxis! Indeed they do have a meter, but they are not very honest. The food is same as culture- European. For ppl who like McDonald , there is plenty of them too. But average we paid for a meal for two was 200 KC(krones) Beer is very cheap for our standard. There is a lot sight seeing places, so you'll keep busy.
Over priced. Although the beer is cheap. Food is OK. People are not helpful. Not tourist-friendly. Has an Iron Curtain feel to it. I was there in July and it was cold 'n rainy. The malls have cool cafe's / restaurants but the stores are way too expensive and that's even with the SALES. The clerks were not friendly at all (made you feel like you were wasting their time if you were just looking)

Prague awasom
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/09
In prague taxi drivers have no meter, So, you have to pay atleat krona:200 for even very small distance. Most of the restaurant served completely unhealthy and testless food. I try to find most part of the Paraha 1, any decent and healty food, but could not. They served testless food and charged few thousand krone. One of the restaurant charge ...
Let me begin by saying we were in Prague over spring break in March 2005, so it was still quite cold and gray. On top of that, our entrance to the city was just a mess. We took a train from Munich and got off a stop early at a train station that must have been built by Soviet engineers. It felt like post-Communist reality punching me in the ...
I was in Prague about a month ago. My mom and I went there to celebrate our birthdays. We were supposed to be going to Budapest but instead we went to Prague. We liked the city, the history and the architecture. We were satisfied with our hotel which was situated in city centre hence its name "Hotel City Centre".
I and many Friends have been to Prague at least 10 times, in fact we are going back in a few days time, this City is amazing, the locals are very friendly men & women, clubs, Pubs & places to eat are cheap compared to UK standards, even with the weak exchange rate. to the many people who say this is expensive, they are going to the wrong ...
Prague is a beautiful city, no one can take that away. But for me it was not exactly the experience I imagined. Although the city is beautiful in the outside the inside of the monuments it is just ok, the pickpocketing is strong, people in restaurants are just unhelpful and rude and I just couldn't stop imagining where were the real people of the city. It is just tourists everywhere and no real city life!
Prague is one of the most beutiful cities I have been to. Prague is packed with history and charisma. The sights are well kept and certainly arent a let down. The prices are still cheap and accomodation is very good. The food is cheap as hell and extremely good quality....The castle offers great views of the city while Charles Bridge always seems ...

Worst Hotel Ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/08
I just returned from a month long trip all around europe where I stayed in 15 different hotels. This hotel was by far the worst. The rooms were fine, but the hotel is far from the city center so you cant walk, and the people were extremely rude to us. This hotel really effected my whole view of the city of prague, which is very sad. I would never ...
