Hospitality is the key word here - not to mention the beautiful beaches and snorkeling. November is a great time to visit as it's not too terribly hot. The ruins at the end of a boat trip down the Belize River is certainly worth the time spent.

Our cruise ship stopped there as well - what a waste!!! Wish we had stayed another day in Cozumel or Roatan. The locals were not friendly and actually seemed like they didn't want us there. We went on a snorkeling tour, the crew was aweful and the snorkeling was pretty lame. Save your money for snorkeling in Roatan and shopping in Cozumel. You can't beat the locals in Cozumel!!!!

Do not book this hotel. It's more like a boarding house, no hot water, no restaurant, not very clean eihter. Way overpriced for the location and lack of amenities.

Overall I had a great time in Belize, skip the city, it's dirty and congested. Get to the beach and the interior, it's beautiful.

Don't recommend women traveling along. It's a Third World country and there have been problems for female tourist.

I went to Belize on a cruise. I been on different 3 cruises and 10 excoursion. Belize was the best, very friendly people, My tour guide from Belizeexclusive was very knowledgeable about every plants and the mayas.

Belize City was a wonderfull exprence.The people were very friendly and nice to me.The city had many thing to do like shopping, markets, great resturants, museums, and more. The beaches around Belize City were the best i have ever been visited.I loved Belize City
