Be part of history in the colonial zone..Santo Domingo is a wonderful cosmopolitan city with a diverse population and fun loving people..The jewel of the city, and the whole country in my opinion, is the Colonial Zone. I loved ItIt is a city of its own.It has so many things to do that not even a week will give you enough to see everything. There is the colinial city which is just great and nice. Beautiful CountryI have been to Santo Domingo several times and have made friends there. The people are very laid back. They have great Italian food and sea food. Santo Domingo, is delightfully self-contradicting city. I love the laid back chaos. My friend who grew up there says it's a "beautiful mess". Unbelievable!!!!!!!!We loved the atmosphere of it all. It seemed like a hidden majesty. It's amazing how not many people have even heard of this place, and yet it's so beatiful. funI had a great time while in Santo Domingo, and i am planning to return this coming summer. There was beautiful scenery, friendly people, and my favorite part was going to the beach. It was Amaizing !!!!!I like it much because it has a calm weather and is perfect to go to the beach.
It`s places are cool the hotels it if you live in a mansion they are VERY BEAUtiful
