CUBA IS A RIP OFF...I have been there many times since 2002, and each time is worse. The currency is equivalent to the Euro, and the goods, services and anything in Cuba is overpriced, under serviced and poor in every way. I am not going back. I went to Veradero to the Sol PalmeiraThe staff were really friendly, the place was clean, and the food was good especially if you like fresh fish grilled in front of you. The pool in the center of the hotel was kept chilled to cool off and the ocean was crystal clear and very warm. The sand is coral and its white. A lot of Russians and a few French and English.
