I enjoyed Cruise, shopping and night life and above all, I met a freind who's name meaning was full moon.

Perhaps the greatest most intriguing place on Earth. Sensory overload and a truly humbling experience for any westerner. Go with an open mind and forget all western conventions.

Its a concrete jungle. So many high rise buildings in narrow streets. Bad zoning (urban planning) that's why traffic is terrible even during weekends. Zoning in Manila is much better.

Cheap and good. If this is your shopping mantra, you'll lurrrrve Bangkok to bits. Easily a bargain capital, just head for Bangkok's big four for budget buys - Chatuchak Weekend Market, Patpong Night Market, Pratunam Wholesale Market and MBK (Maboonkrong) Shopping Centre.

After reading a lot of great reviews about this city, I finally made it here last week and spent 4 days and I was disappointed.

If not for the Grand Palace, the temples, and its people, I think that this city is a bit over-rated and over-hyped.

That's the big deal really?
