Any proper review of the city of Manila would take far more than the 4000 characters allowed. I've been there a dozen times and I'm always struck by just how often I alternate between loathing and loving the place. By any objective standard, it's a bit of a hell-hole. Still, charms abound, if you know where to look. First and ...
I lived in The Phil for the better part of a year and the people are about the friendliest I've ever met. However, there were only 2 cities I would not recommend, Manila and Zamboanga. Manila is only worth a stopover for shopping at one of the big malls, Glorietta for me. I thought the city was heavily polluted, overly crowded, with taxi ...
its a fun city with a lot of nightlife and loads of people who love to have a good time out. i have a place in Makati near Greenbelt so i spend most time there. if you go there hoping it will be like the US, then you should think twice about going there. driving is crazy but interesting. of course, there is always someone trying to make money off ...
What can you say about Manila? I love New York, Manila is as good if not better. The best shopping, eating and nightlife anywhere in the world, just think about the malls all so close to each other, Market Market and the hight street, Mall of Asia, Power Plant, Robinsons, Glorietta, Greenbelt.
The bars of Greenbelt are worth the visit alone, try ...
I'm a filipino living in mindanao...I always visit manila now and then, but I always have that feeling of excitement going to manila..The malls "wow" plenty of malls to go to..We went to glorietta, greenhills. MOA, megamall and a lot more..,all that you wanted to buy it's all there..All that I dislike during our stay in Manila is ...
Arrived at Manila International Airport late evening in October 2008. I'm a Philippine-born U.S. Citizen, no hazzle at immigration. Customs was very quick, a plus. Waited in the passenger lounge to wait for my car with driver to take me to my hotel. Badged employees who work at the airport were occupying seats meant for waiting passengers ...

I'm a Filipino-American and it's been more than 20 years since I've last been to the Philippines and I was eager to see how much it has changed. Manila is a city that is not be taken lightly. For a non-Filipino, I recommend going with a friend who speaks Tagalog fluently. Sure, traffic is very hectic and there is random lawlessness ...
I was in Manila in Jan-08 and the people were all very nice, polite and friendly. My fiancee is a filipina and she her mother and family showed me the sites. The Mall of Asia is huge with many stores that are very reasonable. Greenbelt & Mega Mall are also pretty large and again many reasonable shops. The Hotels were not too expensive but ...

Stayed for two weeks, I must say, Manila Phlippines has great Malls to go shopping-It's cheaper, City that never sleeps. You'll find places that are open late. People are friendly and helpful, although they stare the crap at yah. Food is Great, but small servings, People are on the cell phone all the time texting. The dispappointments: No ...
