All in all Japan is a terrific country. i recently just toured tokyo and let me just say that it is truely an amazing city. The only downfall is that not many locals speak english so you have to get around grunting and pointing a bit to get your point across. The fact that i am asian doesnt make it easier, the locals assume that i am local anyway ...

I went to Japan in September 2006 for 9 days. We spent time in Tokyo and Kyoto. So far Tokyo is my favorite, it has the urban scenes: shopping centers, electronic stores, all the pop cultures you want to experience, also the traditional Japan scenes: temples, parks, scenery.
