the worst part is the people here are not at all cooperative especially the Tamil women and girls. that too if they get a North Indian they ll cheat u like never before. climate is stinging all year round . the people talk as if they are fighting among themselves. people are very ill mannered.

This is not a livable place. There is absolute lack of infrastructure. Choked and overcrowded place. There is garbage, sewage and dirt everywhere. Water is absolutely unsafe, even for washing purposes. There is high risk of communicable diseases. Dismal medical care. Mosquitoes abound. The Biggest and Greatest is the language problem in chennai.all people talk in a language called Tamil.No onw knows English or atleast India's National Language Hindi.
Atmosphere is not at all good
No Convenience at all.
Value is OK except for Taxis
The Positive Factor about chennai is that it is one of the safest cities in India.

Pros:

Friendly and helping people, people understand english, nice and clean beach, pretty calm, cost of living cheap, safe city, traffic controlled, well connected, u get all you need, cops are helpful too, nobody disturbs you as in, could not see hooligan activity or teasing.

Cons:
climate (sweats till 3-4 in the evening...after that its greattttt.......visit nov - feb), autos (call taxis are good)

Overall kewlll place....

You wont find good food here. It is extremly hot city. You can't live here. Very few people can speak english. It is not a cheap city, rentals are very high.

Chennai is a Coastal city with some historical British colony buildings and alot of I.T Parks, multi national peoples roam around the city 24/7 not only tourists, lots of NRI Workers, concept is they interested in roam around this city , which providing sufficient stuffs to meet their needs,dont miss this place.
