The city of Shanghai

Advice from someone who now lives in Shanghai and has lived in thirteen countries before this one. Go somewhere else.. Shanghai destroyed anything worth seeing in it's drive to become a "modern" city. Add to that it's populated by a rude, arrogant, spitting, cheating populace and it's a place well worth avoiding. Go to Tokyo, Singapore or Hong Kong instead.

I saw Shanghai about 1 year a go. I belive shanghai is a sample of Modern cities. it has very very beautiful towers and buildings.

It looks fantastic on the photos... and in the reality...not as good as i expected..and it only looks good in that area..besides, its so dirty and dusty..
i prefer Hong Kong. Everything is way much better than Shanghai...food, people, enviroment, nightlifes etc

Shanghai is a good destination for the night.The bund,Huaihai Road,The Oriental Pearl Radio and Television Tower are beautiful at night.
