I lived here for about a year, and I miss living there so much! The city is exciting and lovely, and in most places, surprisingly safe. There are great dance clubs that my parents partied at, awesome restaraunts (even the local places- if they're busy, you know it's good, and it's easy to point and and smile to order if they don't ...

Dirty place & greedy untrustworthy people. If you want to be in the #1 place in the world to experience potential global pandemic (Swine Flu, etc.) - Hong Kong is the place to go !!! Why does China need Hong Kong now with it's separate 'system' now that it has Shanghai ???

Hong Kong is a gorgeous city where you can enjoy the best of both worlds - East and West. It has excellent infrustructure and is extremely convenient. Many buildings are connected by sky bridges so you can walk around without being exposed to rain/sun. Pretty much all signs are in both Chinese and English. You can buy things from all over the world ...

what a beautifull scene!i can stand to come back!

My absolute favorite big city in the world. A spectacular skyline, tons of public transportation, tons of scenery, nature close by, culture, history, and an energy you can't find anywhere else. Makes NYC and L.A. seem like small fries.

Nice enough city with historical and cultural sights but the political situation is just too chaotic. I would give this country a miss for a couple of years.
