i met lot of SA bands and we had fun, the beach is close by and Florida road is round the corner. Room was absolutely plesure to stay!!!

My stay in Durban was realy fantastic.
Good restaurants good sevice good hotels and very cheap.
A town where white and black live together without big problems.
I have had a super holliday.

STAYED AT ALBANY HOTEL. FRIENDLY STAFF, GOOD FOOD. MARBLE BATHROOMS, SATELLITE TV HOTEL NEWLY RENOVATED !! CLOSE TO SOCCER,CRICKET AND RUGBY STADIUM. A BARGAIN AT R290 PER PERSON SHARING INCLUDES FULL BUFFET BREAKFAST

It is a beautiful reagon of So Africa a lot of history to be seen..go to the Blood River Battleground(a must) Food was great, prices were good.
I never felt safe the whole time I was traveling,I was always home by night fall I was tolerated just not welcome in most places.
Take a GPS for God's sake, most Hwy. signs torn down and no one ...

This is a summer holiday for all south africans. Every one in joburg can't wait until December is here. We all pack up and and imagrate to Durban that time of there year. So all the people staying behind in joburg have the relaxing atmosfere of no traffic. (that is life)

With every one all over from Margate to Shelly Beach is all you see is ...

I fell in love with Durban. Rich in culture and so many things to do there. The beaches are beautiful. It has everything for the entire family. Transport can be an issue though, best if you organise your own. Miami watch out!!!

i love south africa it rocks and i will never leave ,pls visit s.a if you havent been yet youwont regret it its the best place to go 4 a total different exsperience

The atmosphere in Durban is pretty vibey with the brilliant lighting around the Suncoast Casino. There is also much to do, even with two young children: animal touch-farms, uShaka Marine World and Wet 'n Wild, the Umgeni River Bird Park and the Japanese Gardens for a lovely picnic (just a few of the activities we've tried).
The downside ...

I and my family loved it. itwas agreat and relaxing holiday.The beaches were absolutely cool.My family really enjoyed it and will like to move down there!
