The Cape is one of the most beautiful areas in the world. The colonial history merged with the native provides a unique environment. Waterfront, Table Mount, the Gardens, the beaches and wine country make it a very different and exciting place to see. There are safety issues but as long as you are in normal tourist areas you are ok.

There are short trips for whale watching, golfing, wine and mountains.

Cape Town was great. Climate much like that of San Francisco. We stayed in CPT for 11 days and had plenty to do! We did skip Robben Island and went to the District Six mueseum instead (suggested by several people that we do that). Cape Town is an amazing place. The whole atmosphere is enthralling. Rich in history, culture, sights and fun, it is a wonderful family vacation spot. Be sure to visit Robben Island, the Castle and the Waterfront.

The beaches are beautiful, though the water is a bit chilly in comparison with the rest of South-Africa's coast.

This is by far the most beautiful place ever. I don't know the names of all the places but everything i saw was just amazing. I have friends there so the are no particular hotels. We stayed in Fish Hoek, and loved the fact that it was very safe and family friendly. The folks at "A Whale of a time" self catering organized so much for us, and were very friendly and accommodating to our demands!

The weather was excellent, and we saw whales in the bay! Fish Hoek was such a great venue, but the views were amazing, 180 degree panoramic views of the bay, awesome!!

Will definately be back again.
