We eat here about once a week. I don't bother eating at other mexican food restaurants, because they never compare. We love the fajitas!

There food is, like AmandaT and SETexas stated before, mediocre at best. They removed my favorite dish from the menu, And they always mess my order up.
Their Margaritas are average, with less choices.
The only percievable positive is the number of dishes on there menu, There are many choices.
Though this may contribute to awkward ordering and wrong meals being delivered.
My opinion is to go a few blocks to the South, and try El Patio.

We've never eaten at the Angleton location, but the Lake Jackson La Casona is wonderful. They have the largest menu around. Everything we have gotten from there is so gooooooooood. I love the shrimp soup. We always have a great time when we go. Alot better than El Toro's or El Chico's. And the prices I think are very affordable.

I agree with SETexas's review. La Casona is mediocre in quality. One time I ordered a fajita meal that consisted of shrimp, beef and chicken. The shrimp came with their FEET still in tact!! Who does that? You know what else they didn't bother to take out if they didn't remove the feet. I was pretty grossed out as I don't like ...

We visit the Lake Jackson La Casona at LEAST once a week, but usually 2-3 times per week. The BEST service of any restaurant we've been to, which keeps us coming back. Very friendly staff, excellent food and prices are so cheap! I can feed my family of six, including three teenage boys for less than $60! Recommend the LJ La Casona to EVERYONE...always the family's first choice for a night out.

Are you serious? You must all work for LaCosona or have never left the county. LC is mediocre at best. Expand your horizons!

Crowded atmosphere at times which can be a problem. Long lines are sometimes common especially late in the week and on weekends. That might seem like a sign of a popular place, but La Casona is vastly overrated, in my opinion. Quality of food is inconsistent. It's hit and miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's not. Prices are super ...
