I have been to Wunsche Brothers several times hoping that each time they might live up to their reputation. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Tonight we tried again and the prices were not suitable for the portions you get. Everything you order that is not the main dish is extra. The place appeared deserted when we arrived. Although, there ...

Can someone please tell me how this place got it's reputation?? The burgers were raw and the french fries (which you have to pay extra for) were dry. My daughter, who LOVES french fries wouldn't eat them. PUFFABELLY'S is MUCH better. I had a burger there last week and it was DELICIOUS!!!

Just a good, old fashioned, hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Good burgers and the Peanut Butter-Chocolate Cake is fantastic!
Being a Spring girl and living here since 1960 I have fond memeories of Wunsche Brothers. I loved it when they had top name performers like Jerry Jeff Walker, Michael Martin Murphy, Rusty Weir, ect. Bring them back!
The food is great and I have always gotten more than I could eat .Love the hamburgers!
Good stuff!

Valerie C. ............... Does your Daddy own Puffabelly's? As usual a snobby little twit writes a review about brownies!!! It's a great place to feel what Old Town Spring really feels like! The food is good and a good value. As is Puffabelly's. If you try only one item, you have no right to an opinion. Experince Wunsche Bros., and the other great eateries in Old Town Spring with a full experince. Otherwise shut-up!!

Overrated!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/06
One of the most overrated restaurants in Texas. I only had a brownie for dessert, but it wasn't very good. It had a spice cake flavor to it and I didn't care for it. I like chewy chocolatey brownies. Go to Puffabelly's insted if you are in the Spring area.
This place is all about atmosphere. It makes you feel like your right back in Old Town Spring. Food was good and the waitress brought us LOTS of iced tea without ever complaining. I didn't like that you had to order the fries separate but the hamburger was huge and I didn't need the extra carbs anyway!

Great place in Old Town Spring!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/03/05
Food was deliciious! Especially their burgers and salads. The only thing I didn't like was the fact when you paid for the burger all you received was a burger, the fries have to be purchased separately.
