my nephew and i were looking for an inexpensive place to stay in kennebunkport and viola! we hit upon the kennebunker. while it is rustic, it suit our purpose- the innkeeper was very friendly and the cabins are close to the ocean, the village, bennetts and surrounding attractions... we had such a pleasant stay, that we are returning again this year

Cabins are very rustic, there are bugs and hot water takes along time to warm up. You get what you paid for. But, it is close to the beach and old orchard beach. The inn keeper is very friendly and helpfull.
