In my opinion, it doesnt get any better as far as French cuisine in a southern city..I loved the annoucement of the food and the chef's surprise. The all over experience was fantastic!!!

Dishes were all nicely prepared and decorated and it is evident that attention to many of the small details on presentation were all followed. Steaks are cooked to perfection. The darker lit atmosphere leaves a romantic feeling, and the exterior styling makes give the whole place a very cozy atmosphere as opposed to going a big chain store restaurant.

For that special occasion, romantic moment, or celebration, French cuisine better than Paris (France or Texas). Pricey, but worth that special moment. Salad to dessert, you will recognize the extra touch and great touch to your palate. Your sweetheart will appreciate the invitation, the fine food, and the wonderful atmosphere. Who would have thought such a fabulous restaurant in this surprising neighborhood?

Wow! Great place to eat for that special occasion; I was very impressed! Our primary waitress (we had many employees that helped us, all very willingly) was very knowledgable and courteous to us. We don't eat at upscale establishments like this very often, and it showed; however, she was not at all condescending. She offered recommendations ...

The Chef's Special menu was a disappointment ... obviously prepared way ahead of time and without much imagination ... okay for a "country kitchen" fare, but not from a restaurant which boasts of its special attention to customers' tastes, etc.
The presentations were abrupt, without much information on what was being served. ...

This is perhaps one of the truly great restaurant experiences in Houston if not in the US. I have clients, when in from Dallas, Italy, or South America always request I take them to Chez Nous. The food and service can not be beat. It is a bit pricey, but sometimes, you get what you pay for.

We love this place. I am going to tell anyone I know about Chez Nous. We had not ever had the experience of a 6-course meal. The food was excellent. The wine added to the experience. It was worth the money and time. This is what dinning should be about. The staff help make our anniversary a very memorable one.

There is no finer French restaurant in Texas! At least one item that cannot be found in Chicago!

We went to Chez Nous on one of your Anniversaries a few years ago. It was excellent then as I'm sure it is now. I hear that many celebrities that come to Houston frequent Chez Nous.
