This place is a nice place to stay. There are absolutely no rats!! Rooms are modern & very clean!! You must have a grudge against someone in this property because your review is inaccurate.

white sands is a great place to stay! we have been there twice already and are going back next month! at first the outside might look a little creepy, but the staff was nice and it was clean and just perfect inside! for the price you pay...you can't beat it! to stay on the island might be nice BUT too expensive... it's literally like one ...

A few rats and a fire alarm buzzing all night long, along with a 1960's (literally) fridge and furniture in general. There was blood on the bath tub. Good A/C though.

This is not the TajMahal...but it has everything we were looking for in a vacation get away ...there is a boat slip ..good restuarant right on the premis...that will cook your catch of day..but ..also. by the way opens early for the fishing crowd who like to be on the water by day break...We've stayed there 3 times in the past and will be planning our april trip there again...Deb and George

My children & I stayed at the White Sands last summer. The Hotels that are on the island were just WAY to expensive. We are planning another trip there this summer.
The ladies workig the counter were really helpful. The room was clean, the pool was great.
It was very quiet & we had a GREAT time.
We can't wait for July to visit again.
