Not bad - but I wasn't impressed, at all. Pricey food, and Texas Roadhouse serves a better steak!

Been going there since 1978 when it was in a small building in the back of Town & Country. Always excellent service, terrific food and if something's wrong, they replace it fairly quickly (can't cook a new steak on a dime y'know). As with any top-notch steak place, it's pricey and I consider it an "occasion" place (for ...

I went there a couple of months ago with some friends and the service was excellent and the place is nice but the ribeye and crab cakes we ordered were not up to par with the prices. I ate a Perry's steakhouse a couple of weeks later and it blew this place out of the water. I am not saying the food is not good but it is definitely not excellent.

Went for the first time last week. I have lived in Houston for 12 years and have always heard great things about this place. Unfortunately, everything was just ok. I have had much better steaks at a better price! The salad bar was a let down considering the size of the restaurant and the service went down hill after our waiter received a large party in his section. Don waste your time or money... there are better steaks in Houston!!!

The best food, wait staff, everything! They know how to run a restaurant and it shows by the people waiting to eat here. If you have not been to Taste of Texas you are really missing out, especially at Christmas with all the lights.

I always ate there with my family unfortunalty we found a half a roach cooked in the Porterhouse Steak for two. I will never again set foot. When I went to complain to the manager they just offered to cook me something else. I refused and still got billed for the meal I walked out. Never again.

This is the best place to get a steak --- outback has nothing on them and Taste of Texas is open for lunch. Yes its pricy but there is nothing like a good steak cooked to perfection... I wish they would open one in Katy...

This resturant is my family's favorite places to get steaks! The people are so nice and friendly and and treat you just like family. We have been coming to Taste of Texas since I was a little girl, now my husband and I go frequently for our special events, and he loves this place just as much as I do. There is always a wait, so come ready to ...

I have been going here since they opened but not frequently. It is very expensive. The steaks are very good and, overall it is very good. You cannot ever depend on the service here. They are very busy and just do not have to be top notch in that department. I was kept waiting 2 hours with a party of 12 and they did comp me some bottles of wine. ...
