This place should be called Now and Later, because there is enough food to fill you up Now with leftovers for Later. Thats is why there is always a long line of people wrapped around the building. Definitely worth the wait.

Look lets just be honest... Some of the best food seems to come from the places that most would consider "a hole in the wall". And SGB's is no different. Now im no chef... But i know how my Grandmothers food used to taste.... And SGB's is pretty close!! The parking and how long the lines are on a Sunday.

I'll never eat at SGB. I had eaten there before and the greens were like they had just came form the ground and put in a pot to cook with out being washed and the chops were so salty I couldn't even eat them. I will never waste my money again.

Nasty bathrooms! I enjoyed the food but when I seen the bathroom was a total stomach upset. I rarely eat at a place where the bathroom looks discussong. I would not eat there again.

I went there awhile back and the food was Slammin'! I got the ribs which melted in my mouth. The collards were definitley off the chain also. I was pregnant and still was able to eat off the plate a few times. Great food for a great value. I agree they do need to do something about their building bc it is a hot mess and with as much business ...

The food served at SGB is excellent. However, the proprietors must do something about the condition of the building and the parking lot. The current establishment needs to be leveled and replaced.

For years I have tried to patronize this establishment, hoping that as they raise the prices on the food, that they would finally do something about the building.

I am sorry to say that after having been gone and away for several years and returning to the restaurant I was very disappointed. Not only had the parking lot deteriorated to ...

OMG! SGB IS LIKE THE BEST BBQ PLACE IN DALLAS. I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE I WAS A LITTLE KID (IM ONLY 15 NOW) BUT IT IS GREAT. THE PRICES ARE GREAT FOR AS MUCH FOOD THEY GIVE YOU. YOU CAN EAT OFF OF 1 PLATE FOR 3 DAYS MAYBE MORE. BUT IF YOU WANT TO BEAT THE CROWD YOU MIGHT WANT TO BE THERE BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY OPEN, ESPECIALLY ON A SUNDAY CUZ ...

The first time I went to SGB was about 5 years ago. The first time I was like it was ok, nothing special. The second time I was like "I'm hooked." Anytime I'm in Dallas and have time, I go there. The food can be greasy and/or a little salty, but it is good. I've probably had close to everything there and everything has been ...
