Great restaurant!! Love the Wine Bar in the back it was a nice cozy setting. Tables in the front were close together so if you are on a date and wanna get cozy this is not the place.

Superb hidden gem in Deep EllumI'd heard great things about Local, so my husband and I went there to celebrate our 10th anniversary. What a great decision!
The ambiance is modern and sophisticated, good lounge/techno/groove music in the background that was not at all intrusive. It set a great mood.

Totally UnexpectedMy friends had invited me to go to the great little resturant in Deep Ellum. I usually shy away from anything Deep Ellum, however they put on big fuss how everyone was talking about the resturant. I have to say it was quite remarkable. A New Favorite for MeI have made it to Local three times now, and it has not disappointed. Local friends and foreign business associates alike left raving about the experience. On the Tall Order side of the menu, I have grown partial to the filet with the port wine reduction.
