This is one of the best bakeries in town. Love it.

Not really a deli, it's a cafe and bakery, but it's fabulous. They give you sweets like blueberry, ginger, or cinammon sugar bread as an appetizer. The brunch is great as well as the lunches, but save room for dessert! It's in the perfect Dallas Uptown location, and you can sit out on the patio and people watch. Dinner is more intimate and a higher price point, it's good too but the brunch and lunch is hard to beat!

  • On the corner of Mckinney and Hall sits a little place that exists to please it's customers and it does this exceedingly well..
AAAhhhhhhh.... that's what I thought as we sat down at our table and were served our Sunday brunch mimosa's. A fabulous place to sit, enjoy scrumptious food, and mull over the prior evenings ...

The Plano location has terrible service - as a previous reviewer said you spend way too much time waiting for a table and then waiting for food. The prices are too high for what you get - they try to make everything trendy and upscale but I'd have preferred a regular version of the same meal, even at the same price. I'd recommend Le Peep Grill or some other bakery/cafe over this.

I weant with my wife to the new location up in Plano, I have never been there .However, judging from what I have heard I was expecting it to be really good. We sat for 30 minutes waiting for a table even though there was one available and it was not reserved. Do you know how how I figured that?? Coz we were sat on it after waiting needlessly for 20 ...

It was very good food and lots of it. We went for breakfast and was greated fairly quickly. As far as a diner, I wouldn't go as far as calling it a diner. When I think of a diner, I think of a metal looking, tubelike or train like looking place where everyone knows everyone. This place comes across more as a cafe than a diner. But nonetheless, ...

In terms of a "diner," this place is exceedingly below average. This place has NEVER been a diner and it wasn't a diner when the restaurant Andrew's was in the same spot before it. This is a nice, little trendy spot for breakfast where you can wear designer golf shirts while spending $16 for French Toast. A diner stays open 24 ...

NOT a diner... Trendy Uptown cafe. When I think of a great diner... I think of a neighborhood joint with lots of character and great food... John's cafe on Greenville Avenue comes to mind...
    I'm just sayin'.....

Come on! The Bread Winners is hardly a "diner" by any stretch of the imagination! Is it a trendy and dependable "cafe" within the Mckinney / Oak Lawn / Hall / State Street dining district? Yes! But a diner? All of these so-called "reviewers" wouldn't know a good diner if it fell on top of them! Want the real ...

Fabulous. I was treated to a divine lunch here on my birthday. The blackened chicken sandwich was to die for, it makes my mouth water just conjuring up images of it puts me over the top. I love love love the strawberry bread. Delightful atmosphere. I will go again and again and again....that is, as long as someone is paying for it.!
