One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Every time we go the food is hot and fresh. They give large portions too. However it is not the most appealing atmosphere but the food it worth it.

One of the only decent take-out chinese Restaurants in Rowlett. MuShu chicken or shrimp is a must-try. Home-made crunchy flour noodles are heart-stopping but delicious. Very friendly staff. I have never eaten in, as decor is kind of dark and dreary, but takeout and delivery is fabulous,. and they almost always throw in something extra for free. Good people.

My family and I have ordered from this place for years,so we decided to order for Mother's day and I just looked at my account to find that they charged not only the full amount, but also charged the half that they were told to charge since my sister and I were splitting the bill and she was paying cash. I called and the manager just said ...

I've ordered from this place a number of times. I call up today, and told that I'm too far away unless I order about 35.00 worth of food. I'm about 6 miles down the road from the place

The food was ok, but I'll be getting my Chinese food from a different restarant. Customer server at this establisment is not up to par.

We've eaten there for years. I believe it is the best in the area. But, I've only tried a couple of other places other than China Lake in the past 10 years - which came no where close to China Lake!

In all fairness I've only been here once for dinner, and that was a couple of years ago - but it was so pathetic, I've not been back nor do I plan to go back. The selection was crap, the food was just warm, not fresh at all. I mean it’s pretty bad when they can’t even get the sweet & sour chicken right!
There are other better Chinese buffets than this in the area!
Try Golden Pan or Panda Express.

...but we've always loved China Lake. The people are nice and the food is great! The prices are actually lower than other Chinese places in the area.
