Going to Hassler's is like going back in time. Its dingy, unappealing interior smacks of "small town diner" and it lives up to its greasy spoon reputation, complete with waitress with a country accent and her stinky rag that she wipes the table with. I just love the place the only place in Norman that has a smoking side, clean place the owner is kind ( and always there) that's what I like, I go there three to four times a week, I just love it
I always go for the breakfast, which is a really good price. Sometimes, if it's busy, it takes a little while for the waitress to notice you're there, but otherwise the service is really good. All kinds of southern comfort foods including chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. A great place to go on Sunday morning!
