I did only go once and perhaps they were not having a good day in the kitchen or I have just been super spoiled with incredibly good Indian food but I found this food disapointing.

Indian's Review: Don't go here! Worst Indian food I have ever had! No stars!! I am Indian and have had a whole lot of Indian food in my day, both southern and northern, home cooked and resturant. I am from TX and fortunately have a wide range of Indian restaurants to eat from.
I came across Star of India summer of '08 based on ...

I've been going to Star of India since it opened and it is my favorite Indian restaurant, even compared to restaurants in Singapore and major cities in the US! The owner is great--knows and greets many of his customers by name and has an incredible memory--I don't believe I've ever seen him write an order down as he takes it--but it is ...

I have heard from some of our Indian friends that the buffet is not "good" Indian food, as they use the same base for everything to cut costs. However, I LOVE the buffet. I cannot compare it to authentic Indian cuisine, but I found the dishes to be very flavorful and their salads are wonderful! The owner and staff are super friendly, and the owner remembers everyone on return visits! I highly recommend it!

I tried my first bite, pushed it away and then my second selection. After sampling the best ...

Although The Star of India is well meaning, I am not very impressed with the cuisine. The food is comparable to that of would be "Tex-Mex" Indian food; basically Americanized Indian dishes.
This is unfortunate as many Arkansans have not had the opportunity to taste authentic Indian food and may judge their Indian food experience by a ...

Star if India

The service is wonderful...very friendly people. The food is delicious and well prepared.
My wife and I have our second home at Star of India. We have traveled all over the country and internationally and found Star of India to be unmatched. We can't recommend any one dish because it is all good. Sami, Susan and their two daughters, who own Star of India, have become a second family. We even tell folks that RK, who is one of the ...
