Although the microwaving of the food concerned me at first, when I actually had the food, it was delicious. I've been there twice and had the frog legs and the fried chicken. The batter on the fried chicken is great. There is a good selection of sides too.

I would like to say, that two friends and myself arrived at Golden Lady Restaurant on 4/3/09. I had read the other review and from the last review, I was alittle concern. definately the greasiest most unhealthy place i have ever eaten. the food is kept on a line, put on a plate then microwaved to heat it up. i feel that the food on the line is not safe as to keep it below temperature standards that it needs to be heated in the microwave.

I disagee because that is not true. Thats my family's restaurant, and the ribs are AMAZING along with everything else we cook. In my opinion we have the best sweet tea, pudding, and overall food in the Ark-La-Tex. :)
