I know this looks ridiculous in comparison to the other reviews, but all of my experiences at the cottage have been the same. The food is pretty good, but the service is HORRIBLE. Maybe its because I am not a lawyer or doctor, but every time that I go to eat there, I always get stuck with one of two of the older waitresses and they practically ...
With a wedge of sweet cornbread it ca't be beat. But get there early. It sometimes sells out fast!
Love the grilled chicken platter w/ cottage potatoes, Avocoado and Shrimp Salad, Shrimp Remoulade, Spinach salad, Stuffed burgers... Actually I have enjoyed everything I have tried there.

The grilled chicken is the best thing on the menu. The dressing on the spinich salad is a well-kept secret. Even if you're not that hungry, be sure and order a demi of the soup of your choice.
Chicken breast and Cottage potatoes!!! Get a demi of any of their soups!!!! Stuffed Hamburgers!!!!

Unique place set in an open courtyard (it's inside of a building but has the feeling of a New Orleans' type street scene). The menu is small but what they do offer is quiet tastey. You have to try the cottage potatoes. Drawback to it is it's only open for lunch.
