I asked around as to a resturaunt that had the best local flavor and the Blind Tiger was recommended. It was downtown, not my favorite area but we decided to give it a try. My brother was visiting from out of town and a retired resturaunt manager was impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Definitely a place that I will be going back to visit.

This was without a doubt the worst dining experience I have ever had. The restaurant was FREEZING cold. The queso I ordered tasted like velvetta that had sat in a warmer all day. The hamburger I ordered was supposed to be blackened, but medium-rare. It was BURNT. I've never bitten into anything so tough and tasteless, except for the ...

We stopped there on our way from Texas to Georgia in March, 2009. The atmosphere was ok and the server was nice but I wasn't crazy about the food. My sister and I ordered the red snapper but we know they gave us something else...mostly tasteless with a hint of catfish. Neither of us could eat it but were in a hurry to get back on the road so just left it. I wouldn't go there again.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The bartenders are AWESOME! They are friendly, attentive and make killer drinks. One guy even does some of that bottle flipping stuff - very cool. The food was terrific too, we had the pecan catfish and a ribey steak. Very, Very good. The crab cake app was to die for. There is no place as good as this in Dallas - and we eat out a lot.
I recommend the Blind Tiger to EVERYONE!

I went there today and came all the way from Dallas,Tx to enjoy the casino district. I had been reading reviews about this restaurant and wanted to try it. Me and my party came in the door and there was no one to host us to our seats. When we finally sat down to order next to us was a huge group of 7 that had to leave because the waitress ...

You have GOTTA eat the Buffalo Shrimp Appetizer! It's nice and spicey delicious, a 'lil pricey but well worth it with an ice cold brew. Go in the daytime cause at night they have crackheads lurking in the shadows behind the building in the parking lot...
It's just OK. It's pretty much what you would expect from a bar & restaurant. Some of the interior woodwork was done very well. The menu was pretty much you typical bar fare, with a touch of classic Louisiana dishes. Service was also friendly and attentive.

food was great. our waitress was very good too. the atmosphere is nice and the location is stunning at the foot of the texas street bridge, and right in the middle of things downtown. it is kind of noisy on football game nights, so if that isn't your scene i would avoid it during those times. also they have a decent beer list and the first long island iced tea i have ever been able to stomach!
