My family has been going to Maria's since I was young enough to play under the table (over 20 years). She treats all her customer's like family. I ate there tonight and the food was AWESOME as always. I love the salsa, the chili relleno, the taco salad.... well, it's just all good! If you are going to be in Baton Rouge area and you want the best Mexican meal ever, go to Maria's!

We have been loyal patrons of Maria's for about 15 years. Now our grandchildren (aged 3 and 6) beg to go! Anytime anyone suggests going to dinner they ask, "can we go to Maria's?" They get the kid's enchilada's and clean their plates. The salsa and chips are great and we love the chili rellenos. Crispy with sharp cheese. ...

My family has dined regularly at Maria's for over twenty years. We like the service, the friendly atmosphere, the hometown feel, and of course, the food. Especially good is Maria's own salsa.

If you like authentic Mexican food, then this is the place for you! It looks like a little "hole in the wall" place, but it's great!

Maria's has excellent food and she, Maria, is a very friendly lady who treats her customers very well.

Not only did Maria's have great food, but the service was what really made the meal. The customers are treated like family. The big surprise came when on a return visit (several weeks later), my waitress remembered my taste for the Sangria as well as my appetizer choice.
