My husband LOVED it here (and that's saying something!) The boiled crawfish hit the spot for him. For those not into seafood they do have chicken. I had the fried chicken po-boy and it wasn't that great. But the atmosphere was casual and our waitress was cool. We will definitely go back again, but I will be trying something else next time. :)

Wonderful food and waiter was great -BUT THE YOUNG LADY THAT WAS AT THE REGISTER AND TOOK OUR ORDER WAS RUDE RUDE RUDE. MY INQUIRY REGARDING A MENU ITEM WAS SHE DID NOT KNOW AND WHEN I ASKED FURTHER INFO SHE SAID SHE DID NOT NEED TO KNOW. I GUESS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT IMPORTANT TO HER - JUST HERE FOR A CHECK ATTITUDE.

We visit Steamboat on Lakeshore Dr. at least once a month and are confirmed fans! Even in southwest LA, it's hard to find authentic Cajun food. At SB's, the staff is attentive, the food is fresh and good, and the location is perfect (I-10). There are only two things I'd change:
1)some healthier options for sides, instead of cole slaw ...

They're fast (but everything is prepared to order) and the portions are huge.

Good Louisiana food, we eat there a couple of times a month. There are better resturants for authentic Louisiana cusine however. Atmosphere is hometown and very casual.
