Lowest rates in town so we were pleasantly surprised by the old fashioned "mom and pop" motel. The rooms, though simple, were clean and the grounds are beautiful. Friendly staff......a lucky find!

Bathroom window would not lock, in the middle of the evening the heater started making a pinging noise that wouldn't stop so we turned it off, next morning the shower did not work ... that morning the person at the front desk moved us to room with working heater and shower and lockable window ... when we asked for some sort of compensation owner said he didn't care!

we enjoyed the fact that we were right next to umass and the center of amherst. We used the pool a few times and it was clean.
