I live in Nevada now . I was born and raised in Lake Charles and so was my husband. These are the most wonderful cookies. They come by Fed Ex in a beautiful hat box. So worth the trip and the rates are very reasonable. A taste of home. Liz and Jack

I absolutely love the food,the service and everything else about this place. Wonderful little pastry shop with a delightful atmosphere and a wonderful owner. If not for the food then go for the serivce! She is a incredibly wonderful woman! and the flower shaped cookies are just to DIE for!

Mrs. Porche is the owner of this lovely establishment. When I was living in Houston, I stumbled upon her place on Ryan Street and realized why Louisiana is such a small world; my family knows her and her husband. She is warm, friendly, and down to earth and the best in the area. YOU HAVE TO GO BY THERE!!! Try my fave the lemon chess tarts or the tea cakes.
