Good atmosphere, great place for the family and friends. Be prepared for trains passing by. Food is good.

I enjoy going to La Carreta. I always have a great time when I go there. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere, price, and cleaniliness are fantastic. Some of my favorites there are their sangria margarita, fish and shrimp ceviche, cheese dip, and chicken chimmichanga. I even love getting their ribeye as well. Order it rare or medium rare though because it is still cooking on the way to your table and you don't want it to be well done.

This place is FANTASTIC! I would definately recommend it to anyone. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. fast service. our waitress worked very hard and always had a smile on her face and was very talkative/friendly to us.

Great food and service hear. My only complaint (which really isn't much of one) is that most dinners don't come with both rice and beans which I find odd for a Mexican Resteraunt. Other than that this place is one of the top 3 places in Hammond in my opinion.

The place is wonderful. The prices are awesome and the food is great. We have never had to wait a long time for the chips/salsa or our entrees. It's one of our favorite places to eat.

I don't where the negative reviewers could have gone, but they surely didn't go to LaCarreta's. The service is always top notch, the food excellent and fast. A couple of the previous negative reviewers border on racism. I've had great service by both anglos and the Mexican wait persons. Supreme Margarita on the rocks...Rocks!!Especially when Brent makes them!
