My wife and I just tried this restaurant for the first time. We dined here for lunch, with an advance reservation. The overall appearance outside and in is not polished as one might expect for a high-end place. We were seated at a rather cramped table for two in a fairly loud section next to the courtyard. There was an overwhelming odd (soapy?) ...

VERY dissapointed! My husband and I went to Brennans for dinner. I ordered the salmon, it was cooked VERY rare. When I asked the waitress to please have it cooked to medium, the reply was, "we ccok all of your fish rare". I find that for the price of the food, that is for me to decided. I think that Brennans is a TRUE tourist trap.

Have very fond memories of this place from 20 years ago but I am afraid it is a bit threadbare now. Really not worth the high price you pay for poorly prepared food. The staff was over-attentive asking the same questions again and again (different waiters) and the places smelled like a men's room after a heavy Saturday night. Very disappointed.

We had a high expectation for food... food was ok but not wow. It is over priced, you pay the name more than the food. Elegant but not cozy

We had the famous "Breakfast at Brennan's" and it wasn't worth it. Let me start off by saying we have spent hundreds of dollars for meals that were excellent and worth the money and will do so again. We are not cheapskates or "afraid" to spend money on amazing food. Don't get me wrong - the food was good. Just ...

Excellent cuisine and excellent service. This place is not to be confused with other restaurants in New Orleans that have the name Brennan in the title. Be sure to check that you are going to the right Brennan's. If you want a taste cajun, I highly recommend the Shrimp Samantha. The portions are medium to large and this dish had the right ...
Definitly a must for anyone who loves steak. Everything was very tasty and very nicely presented. The service was also excellent. Never had to ask for anything, we had 3 guys servicing our table. If you love steak then try their cowboy cut. 20oz of pure bliss.
I can't tell you how much you'll love this restaurant. I started the meal with a refreshing mimosa, followed by some mouthwatering turtle soup, then the eggs benedict New Orleans style which included crabmeat and a simply delicious sauce. Regardless of what you order or how full your stomach seems, be sure to order the Bananas Foster. I ...
The Bienville House Hotel recommended Brennans to me as the most upscale location in town. As a San Francisian I knew the best here. I would recommend Brennans for the superior service and excellent quality of food fare. Breakfast include a starter, an entree, and "dessert". A fine experience.
