Great steaks and sides. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Will return.

There are vary MANY places in New Orleans that provide a Louisiana experience..this place is stuffy and the food is mediocre. The wait staff seems to be too good for you and will look at you as if they are doing a favor to take your money for their overpriced food and drinks. Roaches are "to be expected because you are in the South". If you are in NO skip this place.

You get what you pay for and more. Delmonico's is the ultimate over all experience to be had in New Orleans. The service is first class all the way. The atmosphere is beautiful and romantic. The food is surreal. This is an event, not a meal. If you want to feel a part of old New Orleans a night here can't be missed.

The food and waitstaff were mediocre at best. Complete tourist trap, there are much better steak houses and restaurants throughout the city.

Very disappointed! The wait staff were a little to eager, every third bite of food they were there asking how was the meal? The Filet which I ordered med came med/well. My wife ordered the redfish with lump crab meat, not the quality we expected. The only good thing was the BBQ shrimp appetizer which should be converted to an entree. The high $ prices are not because the food is great, its because it has the name "Emeril's".

It was a great dining experience! I had the New York strip steak, and for desert the creme' brulee. Everything was cooked well, and very tasty. The service is excellent. The restaurant itself is kept very clean, and the waitstaff is always ready to tidy up and serve when needed. There is not a speck of dust in that place at all. Before dinner, ...

For the money we spent it was awful. Not the worst food Ive ever had but when you consider the tiny portions and the fact that it costs 3 times as much as most of the really great local restaurants in New Orleans its a pretty rough deal to swallow. The wine was ok. None of it was really special. I had the veal and it was incredibly salty. One of ...

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST FOOD I'VE EVER HAD.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/24/07
We have eaten at the finest restaurants all over the world and found Delmonico's to deliver the best food and service that we have ever had. The chef came to our table and made us feel like royalty. Don't go to New Orleans without a trip here. You won't regret it.
