I had eaten at Fiorella's in 2005 during Mardi Gras and absolutely loved their Angel Hair pasta and spicy meatball. We returned to New Orleans just last week for Mardi Gras again. We had 40 people that took this trip and a few people went to eat there and said that it was not good at all. So our group of 8 decided to see for ourselves and 4 of ...

Fiorella's has long been one of my favorites. I certainly appreciated it immediately after getting back into the city post-Katrina. The hours were short at that time since there were few service industry workers back in town. I have to say that the last two visits have been thoroughly disappointing. Went this past weekend, but the place was closed down and appeared to be in process of being renovated. Don't know if they are closed for good, temporarily, or had moved someplace else. There were no signs with information about what was going on.

The service was as bad as I've ever experienced in New Orleans (even directly after Katrina), and the fried chicken was so overcooked it ...

One of the best and least known places in the city. Great service and the food...oh my god. Whenever my sister visits from Colorado, she insists we go to Fiorella's at least once for their boneless skinless fried chicken--not only the best chicken in the city, but the best chicken I've had in my entire life. Seriously.

Had lunch there yesterday, 12/30/07. had 4 piece fried chicken possibly the worst fried chicken I ever had. Breast was dried to the point it almost broke apart and crumbled. My girlfriend had combo plate of fried crawfish and shrimp. crawfish was so over cooked it was like hard puffed, shrimpy flavored tasting cardboard. Shrimp was slightly ...
