Truly the best: Every time I go to Nicolas, I can't wait to try something else on the menu since I am confident it's going to be great. Then I get there and am amazed that the prices on the menu are still so reasonable. The big plus with these guys it their sauce. incredible!OVERALL

We had the most wonderful dinner at Nicola's and the taramsau is wonderful,( Lady fingers are dry finger shape sponge cake)the service and the food could not have been better, we had a very enjoyable evening..We will be back !!!OVERALL

Atmosphere is nice and the service is good. Food, however, leaves a lot to be desired. My marinara sauce tasted like it came straight out of a jar, and the meatballs were bland. The tiramisu isn't even true tiramisu- it's made with cake, not with lady fingers, and was burnt on the bottom. Very disappointing.OVERALL

Nicola's is our all time favorite. Steve and Nicola are wonderful. The food is outstanding. Our fav's are Lasagna and Cheese Tortellini.The meatballs are out of this world.OVERALL

VERY VERY GOOD.. Went for lunch and had the Prosciutto/Mozzerela Pannini and Spicy Meatball Ziti both meals came with a side salad (sweet vinegar and olive dressing). Everything was fresh and tasted wonderfully. Nice atmosphere and not crowded.OVERALL

the food is excellent. fresh, authentic and tasty! i love the alferdo w chicken and add mushrooms, and the lasagna. nicola is charming and her restaurant follows suit. make reservations however because this small place fills up fast in the winter when the patio is closed- and even with a reservation, we have had to wait- but it's worth it. bon appetit!OVERALL

Nicola's is a little haven tucked on the corner of 13th and Jackson. If you are driving by it looks like an old building but when you step inside, the warm welcome and the amazing staff makes the experience worthwhile. I had the rare opportunity to be served by the owner herself and man is she a doll. She made sure my picky needs were addressed ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Let me start by saying I loved Nicolas! I have a very difficult husband when it comes to going out, he does not like to try new things...but we decided to try Nicolas due to all the rave reviews...wow, we both left so pleased and very full! We did not make reservations but reccommend you do, we sat at the bar which was just as well. Wonderful servers and staff, felt very welcome and cared for! Thanks for the great night!OVERALL

I had read the reviews and wanted to try it. It was excellent! I would recommend making reservations if you go. We didn't but they were able to sneak us in between others. The atmosphere, service, price and food were unbeatable. My wife and I will certainly return!OVERALL

Each time my husband and I dine here, we have walked away both relaxed and very satisfied! Charming, cozy atmosphere - it is very close quarters, but surprisingly not noisy. The food is just wonderful-husband loves all of the seafood dishes, I highly recommend the lobster ravioli and the penne ragu. Good service, lovely food - it is near the top of our list of any place to dine in Omaha. You might have to wait, but it is beyond worth it. Cheers!OVERALL
