To be completely honest, I was completely taken back by the food at Riad. It is some of the best Greek/Mediteranean food I have ever had. The hummus and baba gannouch (sp?) is absolutely amazing. With a couple of different visits the lamb kabobs and gyros were fantastic. And guess what folks, I'm picky. The bartender was very good and the ...

I love Riad's. Where else can you get food like this in Springfield? The service is usually fantastic and there has never been a dish there I didn't like. It's a good place to hang out too, great drink specials every night of the week. They have a really big patio too, so it's good people watching downtown :)

Riad's is a nice bar to look at, but once you get past the looks it's a typical bar. There were open electrical junction boxes through out the bar, they had one bar maid and she was unbelievably cold; I had to call her twice before she took the orders from my table. My friends and I had gone out to Riad's to see how well they ...

Oh..where to begin. When this place first opened a few years ago, it was amazing. I would always get the vegetable kabob with baba ghanoush, it was that good I'd have to get the same thing. Then one time it all changed. One day my mother, brother, and I went and we found there were only 3 employees in the whole place, one cook and two ...

The food at this establishment is terrible and the wait staff is just that "Wait". After waiting forever for our meals the food finally came and it was cold. I can not reccomend this place for good food, I would recommend it for horrible service if that's what your into.

My husband and I had eaten at Riad on the square once and really liked it. We had quite the opposite experience last night as we were so excited that Riad had a second location on Republic Rd closer to where we live. I ordered the sea scallops with asparagus, and got 4 SMALL, overcooked scallops on a bed of unflavored rice, mixed with vermicelli ...

As a recent transplant to Springfield, I was really excited about locating a greek restaurant in town. Greek and mediterranean cuisine is by far my favorite, so maybe I expected too much.... I really cant say the place was at all stellar. Primarily it just felt like a bar....to be honest, I cant recommend it again. Its a pity too, because Springfield doesnt have a lot of greek representation with restaurants.

We eat in downtown Springfield almost every Wednesday night. I used to consider Riad's as one of the better places to eat downtown. The owner is a real nice guy and I wish him every success. We have had several culinary conversations with the owner, so we know he is interested food and knowledgeable about the subject.
Our recent visit ...

If you want some amazing, outstanding, unbelievable food, Riad's is your stop! the babaganoush is to die for and will leave you craving it for days after. the garlic in his food is rich and rather strong, but creates the perfect taste. My favorite is the Seafood pasta with cream sauce and my husband always gets Riad's signature pasta which ...
The food is great here as well as the service. Riad himself usually comes to the table to see how your meal tastes. Also, try to hookahs! They are fun!
