KP is an ok place to go for live music. The atmosphere is great, but they don't always feature great bands. Lately, it seems that they same 5 bands play every weekend. KP is usually fairly busy and has an ok mix of people. This may be because its one of the few venues in this town for live music.
The crowd is usually good even if the entertainment isn't. I would recommend going any night Oreo Blue is playing.

This is a great place if you are a college student, who does not mind all the smoke and having to yell to hear others. The food is great, but I have not been back due to the volume of smoke, even outside the bar in the dining room it was filled with it. We also had to seat ourself and waited about 5 minutes before a waitress showed up. I am sure it is great for the younger crowd, good music, etc., but for the families, not my first choice.
