Moved to Southwest Boulevard due to the new Sprint Center. I think they only are open until 3pm.

I had burnt end sandwich yesterday, the meat was tender and tangy, just the way I like it...the sauce, Texas style, delicious, it had a lot of spices in the sauce that were uniquely wonderful...like sauce from Gary Bo in the longhorn state.

Best BBQ I've had anywhere. Hand trimmed and cut meats, always lean and tender. Truely outstanding beans, do not miss them. 'JOINT' is right, only 18 seats in the place. You will be eating elbow to elbow with people you do not know. Right next to the new SPRINT CENTER. (will it make it in the shadow of this place)

Excellent Barbecue, Great Place for Downtown Lunch
By leeman79, 04/19/06
Rivals the best barbecue I've ever tasted. Full of smoky flavor, with a distinctive sauce. Expect a line out the door if you come in the middle of the lunch hour, and for good reason. No fries on the menu (I think the kitchen may be too small for a fryer) but some of the best jambalaya I've had made up for it as a side dish.

Best lunch BBQ in KC
By diggers6riverside, 03/22/06
This place is a "Little Joint" Downtown. The sauce tends to be a little sweet but it is lite and good for lunch. Spring the outdoor seating is perfect. The construction has messed up getting there but it is worth the effort. Jeff D.

BEST damn barbecue I ever ate! It may be small, but as they say, just "eat it & beat it!"
