Great food and great service. It sure beats spending money on dinner and a movie (which will cost you about the same as a meal here). The owner of the establishment even comes around to all the tables to personally greet the patrons! It's a wonderful way to get to spend some 'quality time' talking over a leisurely meal, and the food is fantastic! I highly suggest eating at the melting pot if you get a chance!

I'm new to St. Louis but have eaten at Melting Pot restaurants around the country. To celebrate my wedding anniversary, I made reservations. On making the reservation, the staff member asked if I'd like balloons (for a fee) which I agreed to. We arrived at the reservation time. We were told that until diners finished eating that there would ...

Yummy!

I LOVE this place! My husband and I have been here several times for special occassions. We always leave FULL and very happy! It is a little pricey- you can plan on spending about $120 on the "Big Night Out" for 2 people. I signed up to get coupons for special occassions- and that's good for about $10 off the price of the meal! We always make sure to print out a coupon when we go! I would deffinitly recommed this place! Yummy!

Fun!

Another good place for a date. You'll love "trying" to cook your own food with your date. It's even fun just getting to know someone while you hunt for missing vegetables in the fondue pot.
Three words though, "Reservations, Reservations, Reservations"! You won't get nothing without 'em.

I love the melting pot, great drinks, incredible courses, and an all around fantastic experience. Everyone must experience it at least once.
My wife and I recently visited The Melting Pot in Lamp and Lantern Village to celebrate her birthday. We made a reservation for a Tuesday Night. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly but I believe this was partially because the place was literally empty. One other table was occupied in the whole place. We ordered the "Big Night Out" ...

Horrible, never again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/31/06
I hate this place, the service is terrible, the food is nasty and I have never been so disappointet with a restaurant ever before. The waitress asked seriously for more tip, well her service was bad, so little tip!
The menu looks inviting. They measure the portions in a thimble. The main course was a small amount of boiled meat with all of the boiled pototoes and veggies we wanted. It was quite lacking in flavor. I hope my daughters never waste their money on gift certificates again. Prices are about $100 for two and I went away hungry,
